Betty Parker is a business owner, professional speaker, author, and trainer. She is a communications expert with more than thirty years of experience in presenting to audiences, including radio work, after she earned a degree in broadcast journalism from Louisiana State University (LSU). Betty began her career in 1998 as sales professional and trainer in the biotech industry. She started Sharper Development Solutions Inc., a training and development company, in 2006.

Betty has educated thousands of leaders and staff who work in a variety of performance areas across the country. She is a highly sought-after speaker for conferences on leadership, conflict management, teamwork, diversity, equity, and inclusion, among others. Betty is the author of Waging War on Fear: Strategies to Overcome a Scary World, which was written for the faith-based community. She is a certified professional in talent development (CPTD) and a certified professional coach.
